Looking for a bike to turn into a commuter/touring bike. I found one seller selling both a 90’s Cannondale R800 and an unknown 80’s Cannondale tourer (ID would be great!!) and I’m not sure which to pick. The R800 has 700c wheels which would make my life a little easier than the 27” on the 80’s tourer but I love the look of the older one. Plus the older one has bar end shifters which I love!

I’d negotiate the price as I believe they’re both too high, but if someone could give me info on either bike or just simply tell me which bike you’d pick, I’d appreciate any advice I can get!! Thank you!
