I was looking for someone to ride with, someone supportive and friendly who could handle and ideally was experienced on some specific wild techy trails I wanted to try in South Yorkshire or North Wales. Feeling more confident after a number of group rides recently, I plucked up the courage to ask MTB Derbyshire. I’d been following the channel on YouTube for a while, had conversed over social media a little and now we had mutual friends (Mr and Mrs Mindful Trail Biker). Unfortunately other plans had already been made with HallMarc Trails and Electric Mountain Biker (I’m so often so last minute). BUT I was delighted to be invited to join their ride. The later couldn’t make it after all but I still found a 4th crew member when I got there….meet Cheshire EMTB. The planned ride would hopefully still fit the bill. See what happens as I follow them down some challenging steep, rutted, rocky enduro trails overlooking the city of Manchester, North West England.
A thoroughly enjoyable day of great riding interspersed with dabs, sit downs, roly polys, post-descent analysis, banter, laughs and fist bumps galore – another use for knuckle protection in the gloves 😉

That was a really good video of a fantastic day on the bikes, summed the day up perfectly, catching all the laughs and sketchy moments (we all had them) 🤣. Perfect weather for it too, was an absolute pleasure to meet & ride with you, great riding, hot on our wheels all day 😀👍
That's a great watch. It was 22 minutes of just fun! It was brilliant to meet up and hopefully we can again soon, it was all topped off with warm sunny weather.
