i am amazed that you know half the truth about 1944, most people think Hungary was a Nazi hotbed but in reality it is like you said however it was in April (maybe of by a month) when the Nazi's kidnapped Horthy Miklos's son and told him to get on board with us or resign, so he resigned the Nazi government took over and the rest is inpart BS history
On Minutes of History today: Before they came back into the Carpathians the chieftains of 7 tribes of the magyars made a blood pact and swore an oath that they will honor the house of Árpád as their leader as he was the descendant of King Attila. Then united they came in, took Attila's heritage and that's the beginning of the state of Hungary.
