Hi, I consulted this subreddit for my first bike and it was a success! Now that I’m on the road I’m trying to get my partner riding with me so here I am again.
I came across a Trek Multitrack 7100 and FX 7.1 and need help deciding between the two. To my understanding the FX series seem to be newer but I don’t know if they are significantly better than the Multitrack series.
Multitrack 7100: 2 owners but barely ridden by both, 5-6 years old, $150
FX 7.1: The owner got is used from a bike shop in 2018, not sure how many miles on it but it was serviced recently, $200
Note that I’m looking for a hybrid bike to use mostly on paved road and light trail
