There is NO wetness around my brake caliper or lever or hose, I can't see any hint of a leak. But within a couple says after a bleed, it gets spongy. This is just my front, I haven't converted my rear yet from cable disk.
It was fine for several months but now I can't get it bled properly.
Zoom 4 piston brakes. I've bled it from the top by using a syringe in my bleed kit to suck mineral oil through the caliper from the bleed cup at the lever. I've bled it from the bottom by forcing oil from the bottom to the lever at the top. I got some serious bubbles out 2 days ago, and it felt fantastic but it's now a tiny bit soft 2 days later.
My thoughts are threefold. This brake kit is really common, does anyone know if it's just a bitch to bleed and bubbles hide in it? Do I need to just keep flush/bleeding it?
Is it maybe the orientation of the brake lever? The handlebars are a Dutch style, so it needs to be oriented down.
Has anyone else seen a brake system that kept drawing air in but not leaking noticeably? The gasket seals on the filler screws are still solid looking.
I've bled car and motorcycle brakes hundreds of times. This is just confusing me with the lack of any noticeable leak but it feels like I can't get all the air out.
Just looking for insight before I give up and try to find a 3 pin version of the Shimano mt200.
