Hi all, trying to get back into mountain biking with a full suspension after damaging my hard tail to the point where it would cost more to repair than it was worth.

I found this Stumpjumper on Craigslist, 2023 model, alloy frame.

Seller claims that it has barely been ridden on any trails, and has basically been sitting in his apartment for nearly a year as it was a gift to his sibling who was not interested in the sport.

Everything is in good (probably almost perfect) condition, except the rear rim which has a bit of a dent, but he claims it still holds air fine and rides straight. Wondering if this will need to be an immediate repair or if it would be okay to ride on. Attached a photo of it at the end of the slideshow.

It’s got grips, bottle cage, a mudguard (only on the front for whatever reason) and pedals (which I plan on replacing due to them saying they are cheap).

This seems like a good deal to me, but a lot of you here know more about the market of mountain bikes and components than I do. This would be my first full suspension and I feel that it is reasonable for a first. (I am not new to mountain biking, I’ve been doing it upwards of 4-5 years, just on hardtails)

Thanks for your help!
