After twenty years, I'm back to cycling. A year and a half ago, I bought a 90s Trek 820 in excellent condition and loved it, but now I need something better that matches my recovered skills and I want to ride tougher trails, with roots, rocks, and a few jumps.
Nothing extreme (at least not this year).
I found two used bikes at a local specialty shop, and they're in excellent condition and look good.
The first is a Marin Muirwoods 29 and the second is a Jamis Durango 29.
The price is similar.
Which one do you recommend and why?
