What’s the best reason to ride 175km? A damn good croissant.

After 5 days of non-stop work, I finally had some time free—and what better way to spend it than cycling across the border to France? Joined by my friends Aiko and Sasa, we took on a 175km ride from Baden-Baden to Strasbourg with one clear goal: find the best croissant we could.

This ride had everything:
🚴‍♂️ Climbing through the Black Forest, covering 1000hm in one climb
🌍 Crossing into France for breakfast
🔧 Mechanical chaos (because it wouldn’t be a ride without issues)
☕ Specialty coffee stop (obviously)
💀 A few near-death experiences on descents

Rides like this are what cycling is all about—good company, unexpected challenges, and a journey that feels like three days packed into one.
