The ferry route between Travemünde in Germany (not too far from Hamburg) and Trelleborg in Sweden (a little south from Malmö) operated by TT-Line is a popular connection for travelers, including foot, bike and train passengers. It offers a convenient way to cross the Baltic Sea with comfortable onboard amenities such as lounges, dining areas, and cabins for longer journeys. As a foot passenger, you can board without a vehicle, and the ferry terminals are well-connected to local train and bus networks, making onward travel easy. It’s an efficient option for traveling between Sweden & Germany.

This journey will be on board of MS Peter Pan. The MS Peter Pan, operated by TT-Line, is a modern ferry that serves routes across the Baltic Sea, primarily between Travemünde (Germany) and Trelleborg (Sweden). Named after the beloved fictional character, it offers a blend of efficiency and comfort for passengers and freight transport.

The vessel features amenities such as spacious cabins, lounges, restaurants, a duty-free shop, and entertainment options, ensuring a relaxing experience. Designed with sustainability in mind, the MS Peter Pan incorporates eco-friendly technologies, such as advanced fuel systems, to reduce emissions. Its capacity accommodates a significant number of passengers, vehicles, and freight, making it an integral part of TT-Line’s fleet.

Trainline is great within serval European countries, you can also purchase several railpasses on the Trainline website. Please do note that especially local regional offers can be better deals, however for easy point to point tickets I personally really prefer Trainline. This link will only be published at the moment Trainline can be used for the video that you see and in most video’s I also mention booking websites / tips.

  1. Rewe to Go – the supermarket in the ZOB
is a life saver for us
as often when returning to Germany
picking up bread, vegetables and essentials
    for our return home.

  2. I have never used this ferry we always used
the Puttgarden-Rodby ferry as the train actually went on board
and when my partner was in a wheelchair
    we stayed on the train
    But that service has finished.

I suspect it is really designed as a truckers ferry
    in the long run
hence the lack of the garish entertainment options
