Tadej Pogačar is actually human?! After a crash at Strade Bianche, we witnessed Tadej come undone, but only briefly! He bounced back and still rode to victory! Dan Lloyd looks back at that race, and some of Pog’s mind-boggling stats from the last 12 months.
Plus, Dan covers the women’s race, stage one of Paris-Nice, and the Grand Prix Monseré which was won by a former GCN presenter. 🤩

What do you make of Pogačar's crash, how he bounced back, and what this means for the rest of his season? 🚴♂ Let us know down below 👇
Brandon looked absolutely massive comparatively getting those bonus seconds😂
So Pog crashes and Pid realized he was going to get caught and then Pog attacks and has an easy solo to the finish. That does not sound "human" to me.
Kudos to Van der Breggen! I didn’t realize she had unretired.
There's not a thing boring watching Pogacar race lol.
I love that Pog has te guts to fight for them all but as JV last year it would’ve been a shame to have him injured so early :/.
So boring. Pogi destroying everyone win every race.
I wonder if those 30mm tires on 22-25mm internal hookless rims with a 140lb rider creates the desired rounder contact patch for lower rolling resistance in a straight line, but creates a less desired contact patch for high lean cornering? Maybe the older style more oval contact patch could provide more grip when cornering?
dan this was such a great race for the women. i loved every minute of it.
dan we got to talk more about the break up of the super team of sd worx. i can now support demi vollering now that she's not in the superteam. what a pick up from fdj suez. hopefully this will mean lots of more exciting races to come in the women's pro peloton.
Kudos Demi Vollering…bet its good to have your team backing you…good result PFP building for a monument.
Pogacar with 92 victories is younger than Alexander Kristoff with 97. They both wants to achieve 100 this season. Who does it first?
Just curious did he have to stop to change bib shorts? As the left leg seem to be torn up to half his quads in length and then full length again before crossing the finish line with the bands re-appearing??

It’s honestly fun to watch cycling again. I’m all for this new era of dope.
❤❤ very interesting thanks Dan
Why is everyone saying Pidcock waited for pagacar??? The gap was 35-40 seconds when pogacar crashed and it shrunk to 8-10 seconds in 6 minutes. At that point Pidcock stopped, simply because the gap had been basically closed – similar to what the breakaway does when the peloton is just a couple hundreds meters away…
To be honest, Pidcock had never a slightest chance. When , after the crash he had about almost 1 min of a gap, he should have understood much sooner, that in timetrial-mode he would only burn even more matches than Pogi, and at least when the gap was coming down quickly , he should have relaxed much sooner. And in the end he did this much too late, and it was also not convincing at all to say he was waiting because of respect. 😂
He just understood, very late though, that it was completely useless and a waste of energy to try to hold back Pogi. Was Pidcock known for his great tt performances before anyway 😂😂😂
Pogacar did not crash, he went to the meadow to pick some flowers for his girl in honor of the 8th of March womens day.
Also in the news, Pogacar became the first rider ever to with the Strade while wearing a green jersey.
Win count is a fairly useless metric by which to measure rider success: a stage win at Gran Camiño, for example, has a small fraction of the value of a win at Strade Bianche. Merckx's palmarès are littered with an awful lot of wins in minor races (i.e. low hanging fruit), not to mention the fact that in Merckx's day, one day of racing was often split into two stages, thereby offering many more win opportunities (particularly as a large proportion of those were short time trials, which favoured Merckx).
Pogacar's is too good to be true sadly
Having been a cycling fan through the Festina Affair, Armstrong years, and the Operation Puerto, these performances by Pogocar leave me skeptical. I know there is no evidence of doping or other wrongdoing but, performances like this have to make one question what is going on.
I want to see Pogacar Winning Grio, Tour, World Championship and Vuelta in the same year
A human that dopes! And that’s a fact. Enjoy the other honest riders out there. Your better off and stop making this clown the best ever, which he’s not!! And go ride your bike and don’t get clicked baited!!
Another great show Dan, thank you.
I would have hung up the carbon fiber shoes after that wreck – not jumped on and won a stage.
We are watching 2000 Tiger Woods – appreciate it.
Hi GCN. The J in Skjelmose is silent 😉 Greetings from Denmark.
