Can someone help me figure out how to attach this cygolite hyper shot to my wood crate?

I’d prefer to not drill into the crate if possible and I just can’t figure out something that is removable and stable. If I take crate off I need to be able to attach it on seat post in the regular intended way of course. I don’t think it has enough visibility w the crate there if I put it under the seat post.

Hopefully someone out there that sees this has a similar set up.

Sorry my pic doesn’t include a pic of the attachment but u can see from the product pic it’s a hard molded plastic w a bolt to tighten it down to post.
