Join me for a sunny day of cycling as I take on Box Hill in Surrey, one of the UK’s most iconic cycling climbs! Famous for its role in the 2012 London Olympics, Box Hill has become a must-ride destination for cyclists of all levels. With smooth tarmac, steady gradients, and stunning views of the Surrey Hills, it’s no wonder this climb is so popular.
The road was buzzing with fellow cyclists, all enjoying the perfect weather and the rewarding ascent. The first climb felt so good that I decided to do it twice—because why not make the most of a beautiful day on the bike? The switchback turns, the open landscapes, and the legendary Zig Zag Road make this one of the best places to ride in the UK.
Whether you’re training, exploring, or just out for a fun ride, Box Hill is a must-visit. Have you ridden it before? Let me know in the comments!
