As it first started focusing on cycling in 1895, #Odense calls itself Denmark’s #CyclingCity and it’s easy to see why with over 330 miles of well designed and connected #bicyclenetwork serving its 200k+ residents.

The network has a very unique attention to detail with it’s aesthetic paving pattern surfaces and off street grid #cycletrack system connecting key destinations as shown on my ride through the old city center, and Hans Christian Anderson historic area adjacent to light rail. At the beginning, notice on the contraflow bike lane, the bike #pavementmarking etched right into the stone paving- very unique.
