SJONNIE, in his mid-30s, is a fine, lovable and jovial fellow. Bright, always in a good mood, capable and talented. Someone who puts in a lot of effort but has been unsuccessful for some inexplicable reason. Let’s call it unlucky. His father is Dutch, and his mother is from Vorarlberg. Sjonnie grew up in the Netherlands and identifies as such. He has lived in Austria for a few years, and as he says, it’s just like the Netherlands, but with the mountains!
