In this episode, things got a little too hands-on with my Origine Trail (@Origine_Cycles ) gravel or bikepacking build. From bizarre cable routing to power tools, this build tested my patience, my skills, and my sanity. Here’s what went down:
The Cable Routing Nightmare: The Origine Trail has a rear gear cable routing system that’s like a maze designed by a bike engineer with a sense of humor. Spoiler: I had to bring out the drill. 🔧
DIY Disaster (or Genius?): When screwdrivers and Allen keys failed, I grabbed my trusty cordless drill and went to town. Have you ever had to do this? Let me know in the comments!
Gravel Tyre Upgrade: I installed some new gravel tyres, perfect for dry conditions… which is hilarious because I live in Northern France. 🌧️
The Big Reveal: After all the chaos and a load of lost footage, the bike is finally complete, and it’s a beauty. Stick around for the arty shots at the end!
