Canada and Mexico tarrifs will just cause temporary pain to negotiate a better trade deal so we aren't losing 300 bil to Mexico every year and 100 bil to Canada. They say they are our friends but they take us to the cleaners.

I support tariffs over taxes and sanctions. Tariffs give me choices of purchasing while taxes forces spending on all things dictated by someone else. Sanctions punish citizens of other countries with denial of food and medicine.

I’ve also always thought that Zelensky is too demanding and not grateful enough. You can not like Putin and also not like Zelensky at the same time. I also read that Biden got angry with Zelensky on a phone call in June 2022, he also told him to show some gratitude to the US. Trump just said it publicly. The media in Canada is hysterical about Trump and Zelensky but it’s the oppression Olympics again. Ukraine is the ‘oppressed’ one so Zelensky can do no wrong even when he’s wrong. And of course the Canadian media is ignoring a bunch of really important stuff that’s going on in Canada so that they can obsess about Trump. It’s so sad to watch, so I don’t watch.
