another very interesting post, one question where can i park when i come back home for a visit? lol
Fair play to you. How you managed to get permission to do the video is a feat in it's self. I'm not sure many demolition sites would allow it what with H & S Regulations are like today. Great to see the old, old building's though, thanks for the time and effort you all obviously put in making these videos 💚
another big part of bradford gone
Uniqueness!! Love this… keep it up and thankyou for sharing all this history!!
There used to be a showroom there selling Jensen cars back in the 70s, remember getting a brochure and looking through the window. Bradford was a more prosperous, safer and pleasant place to visit and work in those days.
Thank you very much for capturing the final stages of the NCP Car Park. Very lucky that you managed to get access to the demolition site. This video will be part of Bradford's history.
Excellent video thanks
I never have liked this monstrosity.. ever since 1972 when my brother and a few of his pals took our dog " Patch" down there ..
They sat atop the wall on the third floor .. Patch thought it was just a normal wall .. ran and jumped over .. fell to his death ..
I won't be shedding tears over the demise of this concrete monstrosity…
Wow, great video, don’t get any better showing the demolition. Thank you.
I had an awful time parking a Volvo in there just after I passed my test. Glad to see my nemesis defeated at last!
Well, it's a start ! Now they just need to get rid of all the other concrete monstrosities they built in the 60's. 😉
My first partner and I first kissed in that car park , rest in peace
I didn't even realise they were pulling it down
City hall looks awesome ,what a stunning building.
Cheet cheet cheet cheet and cheet
I have been here previously to document the lift (it had been switched off for many years). I can see they have used the old lift shaft as a rubble chute. Makes sense they are using the top down approach knocking out each level due to the site constraints. I am glad to see Armac recorded this for you.
Post apocalyptic city centre. Zombie town
I used to work there
Interesting! Thanks so much for filming this before it was too late.
Creeped me out as a kid that place
I used to park in that carpark every time I came to Bradford. Sports Shoes Unlimited used to be at the front right corner..
omg
