I drove down to Brighton and rolled the dice with the cold weather to head out with Josie ( @josielorie on instagram) for a ride and a croissant stop.
Weather was beautiful but we didnt trust the country roads so kept it pretty chilled. We chat all things to do with her plans for the year and getting back on the bike after a bit of late season illness last year.

  1. Not sure lying bike on ground would be first thing I'd do on a new one but then I pay for mine. I'm assuming this one was supplied? Regards rim brakes(I have on my Canyon as it's 8 years old) there's no question disc are better especially in wet but also it looks like you have carbon wheels so rim brakes on carbon are notoriously poor. Rim brakes on alu wheels are fine.

  2. Nothing like the Brighton seafront on a gorgeous sunny day! (Even very chilly ones.)

I love the little Shoreham Port crossing. Adds an element of jeopardy to any ride.

  3. Great video as always max, really enjoy your content, think your been a tad hard on yourself, last year your uploads certainly showed a load of diffrent cycling content , group ride, crit races in london, chain gangs and some helpful tips… keep up the good work man!

  4. Such a shame the cafe is anti vegan. Another one that charges for non dairy milk. I think 40p is too much. Bike racks are good to see, just need to sort out the extra cost. Take care about ice. Nice video though.
