On the night of February 28, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a warehouse for storing thermobaric munitions of the Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast.

Thermobaric weapons, sometimes also referred to as ‘enhanced blast weapons’ or ‘vacuum bombs’, and their common subset fuel-air explosives, have been used in various conventional weapons used by militaries and even improvised explosive devices used by non-state actors. These weapons are said to have been used in Afghanistan, the Middle East in different locations, including the Syrian Civil War, in the current conflict in Ukraine, and even in a terrorist attack in Bali, Indonesia.
There are a number of different names for this category of weapons and their notoriety has only grown in recent years as their combat use has become more visible thanks to the 24-hour news cycle and social media. Fundamentally all of these different names encompass weapons with fundamentally similar operating characteristics. Once these characteristics are understood, the mechanics of making such weapons are actually not that complicated. Hence the ability of non-state actors to potentially deploy large-scale improvised explosive devices whose destructive effect is greatly enhanced compared to more commonplace IED devices.

Ви нещодавно написали мені коментарі, і я вам за них дякую 😉 За винятком того, що "НИНІШНИЙ" феномен насильства з боку російських служб, які діють у Чечні, має менший масштаб, тому це цілком нормально і це нормально. Так думає пересічний росіянин. Якщо російські служби в Чечні за півроку вбивають сотні людей, то це факт (2010 рік), адже нещодавно закінчилася війна в Чечні. І за нормами Російської Федерації це нормально, що вони вбивають мирне населення з різною інтенсивністю, адже зараз 2025 рік і великої потреби масово вбивати мирне населення в Чечні немає. А отже, мислення пересічного росіянина таке, що служби Російської Федерації повинні завжди переслідувати і вбивати мирне населення і це щось природне і закономірне. Різниця лише в шкалі інтенсивності. А отже, відразу після закінчення військових дій в Україні, мирне населення, яке залишиться на територіях, де стануть нові землі в межах Російської Федерації, мирне населення має бути ефективно психологічно зламано, і є різні форми, в тому числі і вбивства мирних жителів. Пересічний росіянин вважає, що нічого страшного, російські служби після війни або після припинення бойових дій вб’ють мирних українців, приблизно за півроку вони вб’ють мирних жителів у кількості близько 1800 осіб. А в 2030 році вони вб'ють тільки 20 людей і це круто, адже військові служби будуть вбивати в невеликих масштабах і це нормально, так думає середньостатистичний росіянин, по-іншому вони не можуть мислити. Це нормально вбивати мирних жителів, то вони точно можуть бути винні, адже вони не люблять непереможну і улюблену Росію-матінку, тому винні лише самі. Мислення та міркування в Європі та США абсолютно різні. Тому Російська Федерація є такою глибоко порочною державою за своєю суттю, не тому, що так вважає президент чи кремлівські службовці, а тому, що більшість росіян вважають, що це природне явище.
