Join me as a ride the full Calder and Hebble Navigation on my bike. Cycling in freezing rain I try to capture as much as I can. Poor weather forces me to deal with technical issues and i wonder if I should continue with YouTube.

  1. Another great video, Karl. That built-in mic doesn't sound much different IMO. The main difference is that it's slightly further away from your mouth, so will pick up more ambient sounds.
Ignore the trolls. All the best channels get them.

  2. I am loving your videos lad My name is karl also and I'm always out on my bike I dont post videos and I'm not on any social media , I'm too old for all that, keep on , you're great to watch and speak so well I've never been these ways but I think I will now. Thanks

  3. Yes mate Littleborough lad here top content enjoyed watching your vids , please use your Strava app to record mileage and let us know at end of vids how far it was

  4. You got some tough weather in this one and sorry you lost your mics but another great video. Love that you add historical details and stories about the areas you are riding through just adds something that a lot of biking YouTube channels seem to be missing. I for one appreciate all the work you put in to your videos and look forward to more!

  5. Really look forward to your Vids Karl. Interesting, scenic and on a bike. Ignore the troll, you're out there creating stuff, I bet he's done nothing. Reminds me of Mel Brooks movie 'history of the world' which has an interesting skit on the first artist and critic.

  6. Hi Karl, I'm one of your newer subscribers from when you posted your last video. I've watched through your backlog of videos and you're doing a great job. Please keep doing what you're doing as you can't please everyone and that's just life. All the best!

  7. Another fun video! I love that hood, is it meant to cover helmets? What were the houses at 15:06? Looked like you were at the edge of a Centre Parcs or something.
