Their mission was to safeguard a hidden vault containing ancient relics and secret knowledge. This vault was tied to a mysterious chamber beneath Rennes Le Chateau in Southern France, believed to house relics linked to figures such as Jesus and Mary Magdalene.
Over time, clues were ingeniously embedded in everything from the ciphers hidden in the King James Bible and the works of Shakespeare to Romantic-era paintings by master artisans. These cryptic hints were meant to guide a covert expedition to establish a utopian “New Atlantis” in North America. In the early 1900s, a French priest rediscovered this chamber while renovating the Chapel of Mary Magdalene, uncovering additional encrypted messages. Fast forward to modern times, and cryptographer Petter Admunsen’s work on Oak Island added another layer to the mystery, linking historical events like the assassination of King Henry IV and the Gunpowder Plot to this sprawling narrative.
