❚ Why I walked (from Glasgow) to the most famous loch in Scotland | Glasgow to Loch Lomond Walk

❚ The #Glasgow to #lochlomond #walk is a beautiful journey in #Scotland which I would highly recommend!

This 23 mile walk explored the rich industrial history of Glasgow and the River Clyde, going all the way through Clydebank and the Erskine Bridge to Dumbarton and the wee village of Bowling.

I did this walk to celebrate 1 year of daily walking in Scotland! I continue to walk 10k steps every single day and am so thankful that walking allows me to capture content like this.

For those of you who have been with me since the beginning it’s great to be back on Youtube! This is truly the channel that started my video career and I am sincerely over the moon to be back posting and doing what I love the most 🙂

If you enjoy my work please dont hesitate to leave a comment, subscribe to my channel or share my video to your socials! I really would appreciate it so so much 🙂

Stay inspired out there and thank you for watching. See you in the next video!

Best,
Derek

  1. I felt that I had walked every step of the way with you Derek, though in reality you did all the hard work. Thank you so much for another brilliant video and absolute respect to you in continuing your daily walking. I loved every minute of this , not so wee 😂walk, my parents lived in Old Kilpatrick for many years and I know many of the walks around there, so it especially resonated with me. Looking forward to your future adventures and if you are ever back over in Dunblane, give me a shout as a coffee and a Tunnocks wafer has your name on it. 😊💕

  2. Well done, you started from ma bit (Glasgow Green) and it's made me wonder why the heck I don't attempt this walk!
Some beautiful scenery and hope your feet didn't suffer too much!

  3. Appreciate you sharing the walk with us. As a Connecticut resident with Scottish blood, and also someone who appreciates a proper hike or walk, this makes me want to see Scotland in person some day. Thank you for taking us along!

  4. Thanks for another great video, Derek. I did not get to visit Loch Lomond or Glasgow during my recent holiday to Scotland. This video made me feel like I made it there, in a way. I love all your commentary and your genuine reflections with us. It really does feel like a friend is saying hello when you share your videos.

  5. I loved your video. I miss Glasgow so much. When you were talking about Clydebank and Balloch and Dumbarton I felt so nostalgic. I still have lots of cousins in Clydebank and we used to go to Loch Lomond all the time. We also used to take the ferry across to Erskine. So thanks for the memories.
