Vuelta a España 2023 stage 14 highlights. A 156.2km high-mountain stage from Sauveterre-de-Béarn in France to Larra-Belagua. The Col Hourcére (11.1km at 8.7%) and the bonus-second Puerto de Larrau (14.9km at 8%) precede the summit finish on the Puerto de Belagua (9.5km at 6.3%).

He's clearly a top class cyclist, has the physiology to be one of the best of his generation but I still question his attitude, when it really matters… He's good when it's on his terms, like today, he's no longer a GC threat or in certain other one day and stage races.. But the true greats battle it out and I don't see that as part of his character.. He'll win loads of races, make shit loads of money but just don't get the feeling like I do with other cyclists..

ngl, I loved seeing Remco fall and then redeem himself, it took away his arrogance, humbled him and he showed some raw emotions and to me, he becomes more likeable and easier to relate to and cheer on…..go Remco! still young and room to grow

Lol comeback… he’s the reigning champion and was supposed to be in the hunt for GC this year but he’s so far back no teams even care to close any gap to him.
The Floyd Landis comeback stage was much more remarkable than Evenopoel's, but that accomplishment will not be discussed for obvious reasons. After such a remarkable comeback like that, I hope Evenopoel's stage win drug test will be negative.
For some it takes 3 days to resurrect , for Remco it took less than 24h 😂 . I know he won with the approval of the holy Jumbo-Visma trinity, but that is another story. The point is he rose like a phoenix from the ashes, which is almost unexplainable physically ( many will question this ) but mentally it is possible to be empty, dead and burried one day and have a fighting spirit the next. Not everyone, but real Champions, Yes . ✌️❤️
