Where is triban rc500 ?!😢
Good effort Mike 🚴👍
It does get a lot colder than our south coast area when you go up north and on into Scotland.
You're conscious of viewers who live outside our country. It would be good to let those viewers know that despite the UK being relatively small we do get a wide range of temperatures and weather patterns beyond what we experience in the BCP area, Hampshire and Dorset.
Just a thought.
1 hour and 44 minute video , that's a record Mike
Long ride and video today, well done. Having just moved down to Devon from Mid Wales, I can't say I've noticed the warmer temperatures yet 😂.
On the second homes issue, the Welsh government has allowed councils to introduce a higher council tax category for second homes, 150% premium. House prices have apparently started to fall as a consequence. Too early to say whether it will allow local people to better access to properties.
That close pass wanker did that deliberately, because he's got a small dick and isn't getting any at home…
Disagree about signalling. Signal every time should be the norm for motor vehicles. Also a signal is a notice of intent, not an indication of being actually already in a manouevre. Yes, it's not always safe for a cyclist to signal while braking: as you did say, a cyclist being in a particular turn lane can work.
Loved it. In the last ten minutes whenever you read out your gradient figures from your head unit there was a significant variance in the displayed gradient figures on the video. You may want to research that.
Suggestions in the Highway Code are actually guidelines. You get involved in an incident and you wasn't following those guidelines, gives the lawyers or insurance company for the other party something to beat you around the head with. Hi Viz doesn't stop accidents but we wear hi-viz because another party can't claim in their defence that they didn't see us if involved in an accident. Can make the difference between getting 100% compensation or an insurance pay-out and just 50% because your being held for part blame.
Nice ride Mike , I do need to get out earlier as the standard of some drivers here on Merseyside is shocking . Any recommendations for winter gloves we've had temps of 3-5 degrees with strong easterly winds
You did well on Bearcross roundabout. It's not the easiest to navigate in a car. You've inspired me to start getting my lazy * out again. Nearly all hills my end of Dorset though 😢
Epic video Mike, had to watch it over a couple of days 😂👍
Pedaled to this one after three days of "cross training"-x-country skiing and snow shoeing in the Adirondacks (Up state NYUS). Cold 0-10F, but the snow was great. Good to have the legs do something different for a change.
Ah you went past my old childhood home on Castle Lane, right on the Broadway roundabout. The one with the big trees.
Good ride,even enjoyed the waffle😂
