just got this beautiful '95 Diamondback Ascent Ex frameset for less than $/€35!
I was going to go 29, but new frames cost a fortune so started looking at old steel 26ers.
I didn't even know it was a thing before I started looking up the frames I found for sale 🙂
I'm planning to build it into a ss that I can take bikepacking too, mostly black with yellow (goes well with the frame) or red (already present in the logo) accents.
I'm so excited, the last time I built a bike from scratch was during covid!
