Aviatiei neighborhood was built in 1980’s and mostly has 3 and 4 story apartment buildings. Before 1980, there were houses which were demolished, to make way for the apartments. Exploring this neighborhood in Bucharest was so interesting, there are a lot of nooks and crannies, but the most part is made up of apartment buildings. It was built for the personnel who worked in the military, law enforcement and at the airport. Join me as I venture deep into this neighborhood in the northern part of Bucharest. Enjoy!
