  1. Greetings from Finland! I used this train on summer trip between Bruessels and Paris on the first class. Maybe next time Amsterdam-Paris because I would like visit on Holland and make another visit to Paris… I recommed to visit on Finland because our trains have space and temperatures are lower here…

  2. I hope everybody complains about the fraudulent food. If they are deluged with complaints, both to staff and head office, something may eventually be done. "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!" was the sentence from "Network". Please apply it here!

  3. It is kind of sad (but understandable) that a lot of the original interior of Amsterdam Centraal is gone but at least they still have a building that fits the overal estetic of the city center unlike in Utrecht. Don't get me wrong, the New UC is better than what we had but I am a bit jealous.

  4. Why do they still call it Thalys ? All of the livery and signage still refers to Thalys and not Eurostar. Was your meal that small because of catering problems or are they always that small now ? I’ve travelled on this route several times and when there were only 2 classes, standard and premium. They always served a 2 course meal, although it was a cold meal it was always quite filling and included the choice of wine or non alcoholic drinks and tea and coffee. You could also use the lounge with a premium ticket.

  5. WOW! Prior to COVID, I used to travel on Thalys from time to time from AMS to Paris and/or Brussels to visit family and friends on either end! I am shocked to see how deteriorated and dirty the train looks! It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or serviced in ages. I used to be and airline crew member until I retired prior to COVID and USA – AMS was my route of choice! THALYS was such a beautiful train ride experience! How shamefully disappointing. My last fast train ride, after COVID was on the Italian Freccia Rossa from Milan to Rome, First Class and it was delightful! I expected more from Thalys, at least cleaner and updated carriages! 😢

  6. Maybe I missed something but how does one disembark the train at a station for a window of time before boarding again to continue on? We are considering Premium tickets from Amsterdam to Paris. Would love to take a little bit of time to see the station in Antwerp!😊 Thanks for any advice!

  7. The ‘meal’ served depends on the time of day: If you travel over breakfast, lunch or dinner hours, you will get a full meal. If between meal times, only afternoon or morning tea.

  8. I don't get the Haarlem Station part of the footage. Thalys doesn't pass Haarlem. As you stated it stops at Schiphol Airport. The Schiphol line,as it's called, is a totally different line the doesn't go through Haarlem station.
