We are into the second week of February on this ride and the weather was pretty grim to say the least. However, it did not put us off going for a bike ride in our local Pennine hills over to Halifax where we had a spot of lunch at a cracking cafe in the grounds of Shibden Hall.

Anyway there’s a really good cafe that I don’t know why I didn’t mention it earlier but ok it the Archers cafe red bank farm near Bolton le sands and it’s well worth a visit this year , the approach to it is a bit like the bob in cafe like a coastal cup de sac, I would maybe go early as it’s so popular it gets busy https://maps.app.goo.gl/1AAYSbuMtmAYgYPP9?g_st=ic

We had our 1st group ride in two years last week to near levens hall and we enjoyed it very much great fun .

Hi Daz you haven't changed a bit if you had a cardboard cut out you could sit next to it in cafe and you would look like twins , pity about the camera 😢,I dropped my insta go 3 it bounced about 4 times and cracked the flip screen but I had fitted a screen saver, put a new one on it was ok but I was lucky a car didn't run over it 😊
Great little rideout Daz..shame about the go-pro taking a dive, but to be honest decent film quality on the phone though..well done.

Nice ride in the mist, I always like the way you talk to your fellow cyclists whatever type. It takes no effort to say hello, some cyclists are total snobs when they see a dishevelled none road bike cyclist like myself. Keep up the good work , I am away in Yorkshire with the family and already missing my bike and it's only day two!
Another quality ride Mr Daz and shadow 😂Really gutted for you regarding the camera as like most things these are precious and it’s never good losing one of your toys.If I get out over the weekend I will have clocked up just over 100 miles so chuffed with that and no knee aches 😊If you ever pass Bents Garden Centre just out of Cultheth you will find the scones a minimum of three times the size of your mini one 😋😳I am like you I don’t have mud guards as I can’t be bothered with the constant worry of the damn things coming lose ….Catch you soon dude 🚴♂️🎥👌🥇
