Cycling the Five Pits Trail Loop Part 2 – chesterfield

This 39 mile loop takes in some lovely old railway trails and canals from Chesterfield train station.
During the ride i’ll mention points of interest, cafes and give some brief history about the old railways.

Part 2 starts just after Pleasley Pit cafe and takes in the Archeological Way through Shirebrook and up to Cresswell before jumping onto the Clowne Greenway and heading over to the Trans Pennine Trail at Poolsbrook before picking up the canal at Staveley and heading back to Chesterfield train station
