One of the biggest challenges I faced was the monotony of my daily routine. Every day was the same: wake up, go to work, come home, watch TV, and repeat. I felt like I was just existing, not really living. I was stuck in a cycle that I couldn’t escape, and it was suffocating me.
I felt trapped, like I was living someone else’s life. I longed for the freedom to make my own choices, to wake up whenever I wanted, and to go wherever I pleased. I wanted to feel the sun on my face and the wind in my hair, to smell the fresh air and to hear the birds singing. I wanted to be alive.
So, I became a digital nomad, recording my podcast in so many beautiful settings. Just me, Jenny, my old sprinter van and a need for minimalism.
Curious about van life and the digital nomad lifestyle? In this video, I’ll share why I gave up everything to live on the road as a digital nomad.

Brilliant vid as always , absolutely love Wales did pen y van ,and snowden in the middle of summer and winter ,and the mach zone 👌youve got to check that out on a sunny day. When you lost the path, had to go backwards and then found the path again to move forwards most of us can relate to that in the path of our lives , its a good lesson to keep on keeping on , enjoy it
A great part of the world if you are an adventurer. I remember a climb up Snowden one Easter bank holiday. My partner and I had full kit and carrying emergency gear. Two thirds of the way up on a very sketchy steep rocky part an American guy in trainers and shorts comes running down the path! He yelled a hearty greeting as he passed. I couldn't help noticing that his legs were covered in blood where he had obviously fallen down more than once!! Another enduring memory was spending a cold clear winter night in a small tent on top of Pen-y-Fan. The lights of the Welsh valley's twinkling in the dark. A walk behind a waterfall with the thundering sound of water crashing over it was a special moment also. There have been many great times exploring the wilds of Wales. Note to self – must return soon.
