On this ride I cycled my Specialized Creo E-bike from Exeter to Bovey Tracey to join the beautiful Wray valley cycle trail to Moretonhampstead. Along the way I stopped at the gorgeous village of Lustleigh to admire the picture box cottages. I also had some fun with a couple of roadies on one of Devons many hills.
My observations are the subject of this ride. So come along and enjoy another great cycling adventure.

Beautiful scenic route as always! 👍🚴
Totally agree that e-bike makes cycling more enjoyable. Before Creo a 7% grad was my limit and my heart rate way too high. On Creo I'm >10mph climbing 10% grad. I burn the same calories as before, just go further and faster! Loved the scenery on this ride, thatched cottages etc. Noticed your Wahoo reading 0C. On 6th Feb made a 9am start, cycle route 6 through Sherwood Forest, puddles frozen, grass white over, -1C from weather app – too risky for tarmac roads. Got good gloves but fingers numb, hand to curl finger ends to back side of tops. Wahoo logged -8C (wind chill) on the morning ride but got a bit warmer (5C) later. 👍
Love the Wray Valley 👍
Aha, the Wray Valley, when time allows I really must do this one again….Stay safe. Ade 👍
Hi Dave stunning ride that even if the sun never came out .its hard to sometimes to get motivated but I am always glad I did get out there and enjoy the ride and what you mite see .ride safe mate take care 👍
Don't think I will try that trail on a weekend
Beautiful, I live in the next county, Dorset but used to live there. Your bike is lovely, quite sleek. Mine is a mountain bike hybrid. It’s built like a tank 😂
More snow for us here in the Midwest so that will hamper riding. I have to ask how often do you have to clean your bike after these wet and muddy rides.
Took my pathfinders of and put my continentals back on had a piece of glass go thru the thickest part of tyre like a marshmallow and pulled it out easy with my fingers m8, not confident to keep using them, they are pro2 bliss as well 🤦
Only done about 120 miles on em too
Lovely trail and pretty village (not for cars though). Keep the videos coming they are great thanks.
