Euro 2024 Day 2: Baden Baden, here we come

Having arrived at the DFDS ferry port in Amsterdam, we couldn’t ask for better weather. A long road ahead though, as we needed to cover 372 miles on long motorways…

All was not lost though, as each mild unfolded I got to to experience the picturesque Dutch countryside making my way to Germany, and aiming for the stunning Black Forest.

This is the first of the big transit days where it is all about the straight long fast miles to get onto the stunning winding roads that the rest of the trip has to offer. The Autobahn though was fun as the throttle was able to be opened up

As we get into Germany, exiting the motorway, the road changes to fast sweeping bends and stunning countryside.. Instant gratification, and a complete excitement about what the rest of the trip has to offer.

Whether you are a motorcyclist or not, seeing the scenery on these trips is worth the watch.
