I’m looking to buy my first roadbike and there is a Trek Domane AL3 locally listed for 320€.
Model 2020 and shimano sora groupset. Comes with rim brakes.
I was wondering if this would be a good first roadbike and a good deal? Any other options to consider?
Size is 54 ( I’m 176 cm). I think the frame would fit me.
I used to ride a Kona Rove steelbike until it was stolen last year. I loved it for commuting, grocery shopping, getting around town,…
I want to do the same with the trek, is this doable? Ofcourse with some rides in the weekend … would swap the clipless pedals for standard pedals until I know the bike well enough. Never ridden clipless before. Or is this just dumb?
Are the small roadbike tires capable for cruising and commuting next to the longer distance runs?
