  1. Highly recommend Rouvy if you're maybe not too keen on the zwift style and want a very realistic cycling experience. The drafting physics is excellent and as its on real worlds it's very immersive. As we get into winter here in the northern hemisphere it's getting quite busy now on some races, which is great as that's one area where it lags behind zwift a bit.

  2. A shame Rouvy stopped you uploading your own RLV's for personal use, that forced me to move to Kinomap where most videos are recorded from bicycles. If I want animation/ avatars I use MyWhoosh which has a free version.

  3. I've used Rouvy a few times over the years but still prefer Zwift. I haven't tried Rouvy in the last 12 months so might give it another try with the latest version. Rouvy last week sent me a 7 day free trial (again) but the 1 month code above is only for new subscribers. Gonna have to sign up for my 4th Rouvy account 👍 🤣

  4. I’ve been using it for more than 5 years now and seen it through many development releases . It’s a great winter training tool and fun riding too. I much much prefer it to Zwift for my style and requirements, and it’s so real

  5. I have tried it a couple of times, once a couple of years ago when there were so few riders I was on my own a lot of the time and again a couple of months ago, more riders but still not many and it still has the issue that the entire world tracks your speed. For me Zwift is a smoother and more engaging platform, I use a Wahoo Kickr bike and a gaming projector to give me a life size image – that takes it to a whole new level !

  6. Your excellent review has convinced me to to join Rouvy as a new subscriber..but when I log onto the rouvy site it says your code is not validated…

  7. I have driven Pikes Peak many times in a couple driving sims back when I did sim racing. This looks to be a little more challenging, and take just a little bit longer!

  8. Not for me unfortunately. I signed up last week, free 7 day trial. But I found I was flapping around to decide on what route. Maybe it's just me. I loved ErgVideo. I would definitely sign up to Rouvy if it was similar. The avatar, or gamification doesn't do it for me. ErgVideo was perfect.

  9. I already have an indoor bike (no electronics inside). What kind of sensor can I buy for Rouvy that can synchronize my movements with the video?
I bought a CYCPLUS cadence sensor but that does not seem to be compatible.
    Cheers
