1977 Nishiki Continental.
Got the bike for free. Someone was giving it away to a good home.
I spent a few hours of elbow grease cleaning it up and about $100 to replace the tubes, tires, rim strips, chain, brake pads, all cables and the rubber hoods. Added the bell and bags. Repacked the front hub with grease. Couldn’t do the back because I don’t have the correct tool to remove the free wheel.
I sewed the half frame bag using Sunbrella fabric swatches, and used old sleeping pad fabric to line it.
The ride is really smooth.
If anyone has any info about this model I’d appreciate it.
