  1. Welcome to Sweden!
Good to see you enjoy Åre and the Bike festival.
Typical Swedish summer weather especially up north. Hot one day and freezing the next

  2. Wow! apart the pinky (😅)weather, that looked awesome! Kind of similar trails/bikepark as we have here in the austrian alps, Vorarlberg….not Highways with 20m jumps but tiny cornery singletracks with lots of root and rocks and loooaaadddss of loam (horribly sticky when's wet! 😂) and simply green nature around you….
P.s.: i'd love to try that gin 🤪

  3. Haha! Thought I recognized the pump track in the thumbnail background. Welcome to my home town!
I helped build a portion of the tar-mark on the pump track. Really fun to see how its done.
And yeah. It's really cold now. Feels like winter is around the corner already XD

  4. How did i miss you guys! I was there during the entire festival and had no idea that you guys were there. Hope you had a chance to take the gondola up and ride those trails when it was not closed.

  5. Some 22+ years ago I got a chance to do a DH run on a friends Foes Weasel (and next year I bought the one I helped build… Still got it, a walkaround in my videos.)…
It was a fairly boring firebreak run BUT…. for $20… we got choppered to the top….
Now even 20 years ago.. .a 10min chopper ride was still way more than $20 (NZ$.. about a 24 can Coke box from a supermarket at the time.)…
I just went for the chopper ride.. The downhill run was just a bonus.
It was like a glass elevator… Oh yeah, I also somehow managed to score shotgun… so looking through my legs at the ground way below… Not bad for my 1st (and to date only) helicopter ride.
It was something like a BK117 and took about 10 bikes & riders per pop.

  6. the shimano track is what got me hooked on biking. working resorts in norway now but Åre is still my place. Except the weather 😀

  7. Next time you fly to Trondheim, Norway, direct flights from UK, same distance to drive. The gin is made by a British guy how lives in the village, Andy White, great guy and great biker.

  8. I saw u guys when Blake went in to buy some clip less pedals in the bike shop next to Hanson’s and thought it was quite weird to see u in Åre hope to see u guys next year at Åre bike festival
