This clip has been sped up, it’s a part of beach road that connects where I work at, to a local cycle path in a park which is very pleasant and takes me the rest of my way home.

Singapore are building lots of sidewalk-based cycle paths. None are here nor in nearby parallel roads. And I can ride on the pavement if I didn’t mind my journey home taking 3 times longer, the sidewalk on this road has:
Outdoor seating for restaurants I would ride or dismount through,
Bus stops to ride or dismount through,
So I’m snookered unless I want to take massive detours.

Eh. At least cars stopped at traffic lights ain’t moving.

A pretty typical part of my ride home in “car-lite” Singapore.
