  1. My advice go to France come back on a dinghy and the government will through tons of cash at you, you might need to get some fake tan, oh and ditch your passport in the channel.

  2. I feel her pain. She's worked all her life and lives alone she at least needs her TV. This Government should protecting these pensioners not condeming them. Starmer look after your own people not the illegal immigrants.

  3. To all the labour voters, this is YOUR fault. Half of them sit there complaining with what Stamers doing now yet they voted for him.. why? Because they're brainwashed by mainstream media. This is what happens when you vote for a rat like Stamer.

  4. This isn't right, the government treating pensioner's like this, it's disgusting!
To treat retired people like this says everything about those in charge. It says everything about the government, in any country, on how the elderly are treated & for the UK to treat ours like this is vile!

  5. I cancelled my TV licence and stopped paying my fuel bill when they illegally hiked it up , I’m disabled and live in bed 🛌, I’m 62 .but I’m happy on YouTube 😊. Prison will give me more meals than I get now plus I’d make new friends . ❤
Edit I don’t turn on heating because my home is a new build and doesn’t get cold .

  6. It's the same in America. My electric last mwas $322 and it's projected to be $544 on my upcoming bill. I'm retired and it's ridiculous, I think they're trying to make us homeless.

  7. don't pay it is the advice to this lady. they will send you letters and say they may do this and that. But as long as u ignore these and if they ever knock at the door you just say NO THANK YOU AND CLOSE THE DOOR they will not do nothing. One because the courts would be so full of people or do not pay anyway and they know it would be a waste of time. I have not paid in over 20 years and never will . DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THESE PEOPLE PLEASE STAND UP FOR JUSTICE

  8. How is her utility bill so high? I pay £210 a month and still get money back each year! Im with Octopus and live in Scotland! Someone help her move providers fast!

  9. And your Government has the cheek to criticise Russia, Trump, Israel, or whoever they're against this week. Unbelievable! Your Government are your true enemy in the UK. I'm not American, Israeli, or Russian, and i don't support any of them, I'm apolitical. You guys/girls are blinkered in the UK.

  10. BBC has no shame. They should just introduce adverts! They want to make it so that if you watch Netflix, you have to pay a TV license to them now.. how can they think thats reasonable? They have nothing to do with Netflix.

  11. Keep your TV on love. Forget the licence.

The country is a disgrace! Starmer out! He and his cronies don't give a toss about this lady and those in a similar position.

  12. Tax on pension that was already taxed on through earning it disgusting 80yrs old for gods sake have some respect
Where is the incentive to to work hard to scratch around in old age…..government should be ashamed and resign but they care only for their self interest certainly not for UK

  13. What a disgusting way to treat your own citizens… this woman has worked all her days to pay for people who sit on there arse and have everything paid for them… and the way this country is going, it's only going to get worse… mass immigration and net zero are killing this country

  14. Let’s not forget, the yearly state pension has actually increased. The winter fuel allowance isn’t much at all, so a big fuss about nothing.

The TV licence can be paid in monthly instalments, which is very manageable
