That is insane.
I was happy with 200 watts for 2 hours.
But I’m into bodybuilding. That’s my excuse.
Former competitive cyclist here. This is f-n ridiculous.
The best athletes in the world are genetic freaks, and that includes bodybuilders who are sauced to the gills and NFL lineman who are 330lbs with 30% body fat. They are just built different
“Really remarkable”… uh yeah. Thats insane
😂 My end all – be all goal is 200w zone 2, I'm hovering at 180 right now.. Dude'r is jamming out 320-340 for 5 hours.. insane
Geesh. That’s threshold for me 😅
320 w for 5hrs is zone 2 😜😜 inhuman
My ftp is only around 260, I’m old, but that’s crazy
The question was how much time does he spend total in zone 2, seems like a lot of the comments are thinking he is doing 5 hours of zone two at a time. Sounds more like to me that he’s got 5 hours of zone 2 training per week. Just what it sounds like to me based on the question.
Waoo I’m doing 175w for minute and I can’t even breath afterwards
He is taking about high zon2 tho, is more close to LT1…
How can z2 be 300+ kw bpm 140 😮unless youre Pogi. Thats z3 to most.
260 watts for 30 minutes and my guts are hanging out of my mouth.
How can I transition from level 6 low intensity effort @ roughly 123bpm to more functional deltoid extrapolation? Consider that I tend to counterbalance this with a low-melatonin diet accounting for back-supported exercise with circadian sleep patterns. Thanks
My nr.1 Question: how can he eat that much?
zone 2 is 150 bpm?? huh? can someone explain?
crazy numbers at Zone 2….but then, he is a pro…top pro
I run 3:50 per km at zone2. Takes years and hard work to build that baseline
He is a pro. He rides everyday on zone 2 for hours. They are paid to do that. Anybody who start doing the same and does it for 10 years would achieve similar results. But not everybody has the same motivation, desire and competitive spirit. These men have done that since they were like 12-13 on their own first because they love it, and they progressed to what they are today, elite riders. I’m sure he was at that heart rate and 180 watts when he was around 13.
Omg
Sick
He did choose his genitors very well 😊 !!
I don't think people understand how insane that is. A 360 ftp is an amazing ftp. Most people will never break 320. This mfer holds 340 for 5 hours on a chill day!!?!???!!!!!!
History books will show 90% of cyclist quit after this, while the other 10% sought psychological counseling. Thank you Tadej.
