Anyone here modified their thumb shifter?
Im currently trying to pair this sunrace M90 thumbshifter with my 9speed setup. The issue is that it doesnt want to go to the biggest cog(32t). Ive tried tensioning the shifter cable for the 3rd smallest cog and see if itll go to the biggest cog. It did. So my understanding is that the shifter does not have enough cable pull.
Can I just dremel the groove to make the channel longer so that i could twist the shifter more thus, more cable pull?
