  1. That was some beautiful country. Being in a wheelchair I really hate cobble stone and gravel though and the hills when I have to go up but coming down Watch Out because I like to let go 😁

  2. Lovely part of the World. I regularly camp in Lythe although at the campsite just after the fire station & not in the graveyard 🙂 As you'll have found out, the road North is relentless. Let's call it character-building. Enjoy my home county.

  3. Good video but on the Scarborough to Whitby leg, There is a lot easier route as you come into Whitby on Route 1 to Whitby town centre avoiding the steps. Although the route does stop a bit above Whitby you can rejoin route 1 by following route 165 & 168. you definately need a bit better bicycle with suspension for the old cinder track.

  4. They should force people if they using bikes they should have dumass course on WHOT NOT TO DO and the thing on WHOT NOT TO WEAR AND IF THEY RIDE ON THE RONG SIDE OF THE ROAD ONTO ON COMING TRAFFIC ITS NOT THE DRIVERS FALT AND IF YOU DO NOT WEAR LIGHT OR SUITABLE CLOTHING IT YOUR OWN F.CKIN FALT IF WE HIT YOU YOU SHOULD BE FORCED TO HAVE IN Insurance as YOU RIDE AWAY AND WE ARE LEFT WITH THE BILL AND ANYBODY GIVE ME A FOR DUMASS COURSE GIVE ME A HELL YES

  5. Bicycle touring in the UK is rain, busy state roads, angry men in white vans, unpaved tracks that end in public footpaths or in a field, potholes, private landowners…

British person: "Yeah it's beautiful init!"

  6. You were not the only Americans in the ornamental gardens that morning. nlike them though you wouldn't run the risk of being shot on site. The grey squirrels were introduced from the USA to the UK in 1876. The numbers exploded to now estimated at 2.5 million forcing out the native red species who are close to being non existent. The greys are trapped and shot as a pest in many areas.
