Itβs like 8 in the morning! Ffs, I thought he was going to say 5 or 6.
I think with a bit of strengthening they have a chance of promotion again, however I think theyβll fit into league one perfectly. People forget, this club used to be a championship (old division 2) club year in year out.
Ben Tozer to Bradford City fact
I think league 1 is gonna be a long road for Wrexham. I personally think this is where they will stay for awhile, some big fish in that leauge!
Realistically, you wouldnt want to be promoted too fast from league one to the championship. The ideal timeline would be 2 years minimum so you can build another good foundation of depth in the squad as well as a competitive starting 11 to play in the championship. Also to allow them to prepare financially for the championship.
Survive in league one?
I'm a leyton orient fan and can see Wrexham will be strong contenders for top 6 with their momentum right now.
Top 8 with the way they play is my minimum educated rest.
Deadpool refuses relegation.
is Ben no longer in the team?
Connor cody was a Liverpool fan
Let's go L1!
Lets Goooo!!!!!!!!!!!
Though the step from League 2 to 1 is arguably a much bigger jump than up to League 2, I suspect theyβll finish a comfortable mid-table in their first League 1 season. Iβll be surprised and impressed if they make the playoff places given some of the decent sized clubs, but likewise Iβll be very surprised if they end up in a relegation battle.
They have the financial position and income to make the right signings as theyβve shown theyβre sensible on that front, so with the right decisions, they can start the season as a solid League 1 team to face.
Wrexham Legend β€
Brits can never pronounce McClean can they
Arthur is a wall.
Foz the legend β¦ Iβve been an American premier league fan since 2003/2004 (saw arsenal at highbury) but wrexham has made a fan of the entire EFL out of me. Curious to know more about Notts County, MK Dons, Sheffield Wednesday, and championship too
Derby county
Stockport fan here both us and Wrexham will be there in at least the play offs
Wrexham will be in the Premiere League one day.
The conor coady being an Everton fan was something he denied for so long π because he player for Liverpool even though his kid plays in the academy and theres pics of him at matches as a kid.
Why do people hate wrexham so much, you'd love owners and a project like they're doing.
Will finish mid table this year. Promotion possibly next year.
Gg
There is not much difference between Lg. 1 & 2. They will be fine.
It's going to be harder to stay in L1 than it was to get there. There are going to be some unpopular cuts in order to level up.
Players, that if cut or traded, would gut me? Lee, Tozer, Fletcher, Mendy, Mullin, Palmer, Cannon, O'Connell. Unfortunately, some of these guys might be too old to hang in L1.
Up the Crawley town for next season my local teamπΉ
I actually donΒ΄t know how accurate FM is when it comes to the difference between league one and two. In FM itΒ΄s not that big, the huge jump happens from league 1 to the Championship.
I'm pretty sure Salford City had 4 promotions within 5 seasons.
30 seconds in and that divvy is proving is lack of knowledge yet again, stop him being on this show, it ruins it completely
Posh fan here looking forward to Wrexhamβs visit to the Weston Homes Stadium. I think one promoted team and one relegated team will make it to the top six.
To be honest Wrexham have virtually had a mid-table League 1 side for the last 2 seasons. Yeah they still had to go out and do it but its what happens if theyre without a few key players (Mullin, Lee etc.) for a while. They've been the big fish in the past but now they won't be. Think the recruitment is gonna be very important this summer.
They need Okwonkwo. Absolutely need him. That reach and natural anticipation for the ball is next-level in him. He could play in the Premier league right now he's that good.
Swansea won three promotions in four seasons to reach the First Division (equivalent of the Premier League)in 1981.
and they jsut got him for free hahah. mental for Wrexham to ge ta GK that quality
Wrexham are everything wrong with modern football. Disney channel FC
im birmingham city, cant wait for the season now….. i expect wrexham to be one of the teams challenging us at the top
Iβm really looking forward to seeing them in person play the Vancouver Whitecaps! I know itβs a friendlyβ¦ and I really hope Paul M doesnβt get hurt again β¦ but to see them play with my son will be amazing! He lives in Victoria BC and Iβm going out there from Bermuda. Cheers B
Way too late here but I believe in Wrexham because in Germany people doubted Heidenheim. Heidenheim adapted, scouted players that would help their success and now they're in the europe league. Go Wrexham π !
Here is an extensive list of three straight promotions

Honest question, why isnβt Ben Foster giving me euro sports news on cable tv here in the US? Because heβs the person I want telling me whatβs going on
They'll stay up definitely but the 3rd promotion in a row is very unlikely.
Watching them against shefffield, I'd say they could be top 6
Of course they will …i see them as mid table at the very worst
10 out of 12 points and 4 out of 6 from road ganes i doubt they will go backwards this season.
How good is Fozzie's League 1 Prediction now after the transfer window has closed and they are currently sitting tied at the top of the table after drawing with Bolton on the road, smoking Reading at home and easily handling Peterborough on the road? With only Dobson being added in the starting 11 and Mullins recovering – pretty impressive start (granted – its only a start). Time to do an update – possibly before or after Birmingham?
Thus far, this has aged well.
5 games in…4 wins 1 draw…Top of the league…without Mullin .so who knows
That aged well
Well this Aged well.
