I’m not one to review gear but after spending 3 months with a Blackburn outpost elite framebag on my [girlfriends bike](https://i.imgur.com/n9mnUF4.jpg)(right side), I feel like this needs to be shared.

This framebag has good volume for its size (small) and the little pockets on the right side is great, along with the extra access zipper on the lower half.

However, after two weeks the seams all began to fail. And for 3 months I’ve been gluing this thing back together.

Honestly, I’m only posting this because I’m pissed off right now trying to sew the thing together by hand because we have a year long trip through asia beginning next week.

There’s nothing to describe the annoyance of consistently failing and dropping gear during a long distance trip. No glue that we tried could fix the seams so stitching is our last resort. The material is great but whatever bonding was used hasn’t worked well on the bag she purchased.

Their warranty covers this defect but if it can happen to one, it can happen to others. On my bike, I have a [Surly framebag](https://i.imgur.com/3vP5UFT.jpg) which feels brand new aside from a gash, which was totally my fault, but it’s had much rougher use than the Blackburn.
