Hi all! I’m looking to purchase my first road bike and trying to find something on a budget. I’ve landed on a Roubaix as I’m coming from a hybrid and am looking for something this isn’t super aggressive, but will still be an upgrade over what I have. I’ve found someone selling this locally and have got them down to $500. I will definitely need to spend about $200 on a full tune-up (including cables, tubes, etc.)
Is this too much for this bike? I initially thought it was a good deal, but just looked up the Blue Book which suggests it should be a decent bit cheaper. I’m in the US (Texas, if that makes a difference). Thanks for any input!!
EDIT: Looks to be all Shimano 105 components. The rear gear cable is completely severed which is why I’m including the tune-up in the costs.
