Max Hammerle, from Austria, was a pro cyclist, but didn’t like all the crashing and close contact riding. He got into triathlon and in a very short period of time, started to have success. His first year as a pro was 2019, and he qualified for the Nice world championships this year at Ironman Lake Placid.
