I’m reconstructing a vintage bike running 700c wheels and found these 2 forks to replace: 700c (left) and 27” (right). I prefer the more geometric design of the 27” but as can be seen from pic 2 and 3, there’s a lot of clearance between the tyre and the joint of the fork which though can be solved with long caliper brakes, it still may not look all too pleasant. My options are currently to either go with the 700c fork which works but I don’t quite the look of as much, the 27” fork and just try to ignore the huge clearance, or have a recommendation for how to find a 700c fork with the design I want or even a model recommendation. Any help would be appreciated.
