      In reality, the concern likely wasn't the crane driver being distracted, but rather him/her using it as an excuse to stop work and go sit in the canteen until you left. Construction is full of miserable characters just itching for an excuse to down tools, and a stationary crane is basically burning money.

      Oh my god you cannot speak to site managers in hi vis like that, they are used to everyone bowing down to them every day, their ego flows out behind them as they walk along, you have irreparably damaged this poor bloke, the next bloke who messes up on the work site is going to get it.

      see the guy on the road roller looks like he has a turban or something on his head not a hard hat i don't think if not wearing a hard hat you should be allowed on a building site i remember years ago they let you ride motorbikes without a helmet if you wore a turban its fucking wrong if the law says you have to wear a crash helmet it should apply to everybody if you say i cant wear a crash helmet because i wear a turban the answer is simple buy a fucking car not a motorcycle if you cant wear a hard hat don't get a job that says you have to wear one

      Sorry DJ but since you've come back from the break, I think you are too arrogant and abrasive with people; I don't think there was anything wrong with the way they approached you or were demanding you don't or desist but your responses were curt. You could have had a civil conversation with them and I feel things would have gone differently; I may be wrong but manners cost nothing.
      You often ask people "who do you think you are" and I can ask the same; who do you think you are that employees cannot question people hanging around their site filming in a relatively friendly inquisitive manner!?
