  1. Hello, I am not very knowledgeable about grand tour cycling but I do sense a lot of a) crashes and b) efficient utilisation of slip streaming in peloton mode. So my question is would there be any race benefits (strategy, tactics, endurance, etc) to starting off each team separately at two minute intervals? Would this create a more intense racing dynamic? And could one then have stages of shorter distance?
