Last year I got a good deal on a Specialized Crossroads Elite bike and have been using it without issues generally, although its a little heavy. I commute to work about 3 miles a couple times a week and other general errands around the city, sometimes leisure riding as well. It’s time for a tune up and the bike also needs new brakes chain, cassette, and likely tires as well. Adding all these things up I estimate will run around $300. At that point, should I just try to sell the bike and buy a new or used one for $400-600?
