Thanks all for your help. Managed to do my first ever groupset change! Giant Revolt 2020 2 feom Shimano Sora and the finniky giant conduct hybrid brakes to full Shimano 105 hydro. 165 mm cranks from FSA
The only thing I don't like so far is the low gearing. I bealive I have the short cage 11s 105 rd, see the Japan SS stamped on the derailleur. I think that means it's short cage as even with the 30 tooth cassette and the big chain ring the derailleur is getting close to being maxed out.
If this is the case am thinking of changing to a grx 810 rd which I believe is compatible with the 105 shifters. Want to use this for touring in the European Alps so think a 48/32 t chain rings and 11-30t cassette might be to high.
